‘Sing “Signed D.C.’..

Recognized young woman prone.. stone cold alley floors.. said she waited just for me.. seems it should mean more.. said she had been ‘haunted’ kindred to coven it seemed..

Said a song that said it all.. when hard times met the dream..

She had been there for the end of what began in love.. a generation of acceptance.. hell or God above.. ’67 summer of love our fate then to feel..

A wondrous time mankind felt love trusting true and real..

No sessions of possession or fear of ‘housewife blues’.. freedom to deal.. with a touch of class.. our honor blood so cast in steel.. greedy oil was outvoted.. foiled for a giving sun..

A better world to live in.. no fights happened.. not a one..

60’s speed lost to greed.. old fears controlled.. once more.. short thought folks with knowledge squealing dunce from ‘foolscape floor’.. kill the pain.. each man made rain.. heroin come close..

Until relief came only with another fix.. one dose..

Bitter pill when spoiled to self centered fools once more.. only thrill a ‘jack’ the pill locks rudest evil doors..

She sat and smiled losing 10 years.. beautiful and free.. I will turn you on.. we just tripping you and me.. then please take me back in time..

‘sing song olde ‘Signed D.C.

Peace Tony

(‘Signed D.C.) was a song recorded by the band ‘Love’ in 1965.. for the album.. it was written by ‘Snoopy’.. T.C.
