Sweat down a young man’s face.. young girl fighter spouts blood.. five feet down this cover.. bloody cover in the mud.. try remember what it said.. commands seen from God.. each man has a God he reckons.. clutched his bullet rod..

Politic trick make a man sick.. bought and sold it seems.. who is lying.. who is true.. thus fulfills their dreams.. what dreams could be answered.. who would use a faith.. who is bought and sold.. who dreams a money wraith..

Try to speak.. try for sane.. try to say my heart.. taking sides.. false in pride.. throat takes words apart.. fear control to say words.. throat constricts slows.. scare a country.. scare a mind.. but heart will always know..

Who wholesales my mother.. family and friends.. who hustles for money so it cannot be again.. stress and fear priced real low.. buy six thousand youth.. to place ads for vengeance.. as money is their truth..

Young man clutches weapon.. cries for Beirut home.. young man from D.C. misses wife Capitol Dome.. wife helps friend who is wife of reserve home town.. puts flowers on young man’s grave.. will not let him down..

Everywhere young folks see.. seldom will express.. beyond those who take love of country.. to some money mess.. New Jersey’s a battleship her guns are cool in port.. the guns that shelled civilians.. cutting innocent life short..

Dead is Bin La din.. with his crazy rap.. gone his madness he spread with a money baited trap.. live is politician.. who moonlights selling cars.. guilty are the silent knowing.. hiding drunk in bars..

Every day of peace.. another day of sane.. peace will take us to a true .. a place to heal all pain.. all impatient forty year olds.. who have not passed eight.. should hear the heartbreak of the ‘Soldier Song’  by Mirror Lake..

THEN.. WHO DID THIS?.. I KNOW THE EXCUSE.. I DO NOT CONDONE IN HEART OR MIND THE PROVOCATEURS..The USS New Jersey fires a salvo from her 16″/50 guns during a deployment off the coast of Beirut, Lebanon. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Thought for this day.. ‘The heroes of war are those who remember the value of peace.. in the heat of battle they do not riddle their minds.. rather they remember who they are’.. Peace Tony
