So Much

. Love Song

NO MATTER WHO.. IT IS A CALM BEAUTY.. WELL PICTURED.. Love Song (Photo credit: Juliana Coutinho)

WESTERN.. BALLAD.. LIKE SOMEWHERE BACK THEN..

Move around the bar light hits you just that way.. coy.. good rack wheels.. say ‘come on daddy play’

Just when passion hits me.. high boil centigrade.. I remember promises.. broken that you made..

And the pain comes again.. though I long for your touch.. the useless feel I got then.. when you promised me so much..

Chorus

My path runs true in honor.. yeah I learned long ago.. You cannot live in love.. when you hurt another so..

My anger has left me now.. you cannot let me down.. Act in your play..like a clown..

4.  Alone I walk home as the air clears my head.. sing my love-song just for you.. After she left you came to my bed.. your love-song comes easy and true..

Now she finds glory.. sits laps.. does well in the bar.. in my rear-view mirror she looks fine..

We ended that story.. done long and by far.. we are better off with our kind..

Thought for this day.. ‘When one refuses to let you share.. when they connect with command and irritation rather than understanding.. perhaps that lover is not your kind.. perhaps you are not theirs.. it is possible to leave and find another without bitterness.. pain and lonely feelings are just a compliment to your mutual love.. though past.. a good memory.. Peace Tony
