Workers all along East Coast keeping pipelines clear.. light at night.. water always.. never have a fear..
Some maintain some use brains.. paid for what they know.. curious a storm like Sandra makes them stop the show..
‘Tragedy Corrupted’ yup they made it worse.. ‘get that paycheck.. then get stoned’ is their universe.. in money diverted.. theft of money dear.. paid in faith to keep lights on.. with water running here..
No one I have spoken with.. nor by me ever known.. paid tax for utilities.. roads to places roamed.. likes what clearly happened.. such storms are endured well.. in places where most folks care.. why things failed or fell..
No one noticed or would speak of tricksters in their crime.. taking home what makes things safe.. collecting overtime.. toast the honest workers.. kudos and a tear.. for your work belittled..
When the storm got here..
Thought for days.. I have living experience in places where ‘tropical storms‘ and typhoons.. (hurricanes in another geographical location).. had their season of 4 to six months a year..
I would not have believed this possible on the U.S. East Coast.. had it not happened..
Corruption has a huge cost.. for many.. just the satisfaction of doing a good job should motivate one.. few join civil service.. or utilities to get wealthy.. it is steady.. with good benefits..
When folks are protected it should not be after a disaster that could have been avoided..
The slides reflect in pictures the heartache of many.. Peace Tony
