For a child Unknown

Peace and love

DID WE NOT TRY.. DO WE NOT KEEP TRYING.. FOR PEACE IS ONE THING THAT REQUIRES NO VIOLENCE.. Peace and love (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

During revolution time.. peace my only turn.. away from hawks.. how wars kill and corrupt and burn..

found time to remember peace.. love.. peace on free trails.. somewhere in exchanges love seemed futile then it failed..

still those who sought a family.. a picket fence.. something heard from mouths of others.. true to make some sense..

friends hooked up.. some married.. wished well when ‘with child’.. pregnant mothers need for love of child a quiet style.. fathers head thrown back to hold tears that always came.. when the child awaited had tubes into its brain.. the baby who alone would turn their lives around.. adults much less a child cannot help with mistakes it found..

this was around ’69 late into the year.. when those who wanted peace once more were overwhelmed with fear..

Thought for this day.. There are many things in this world I fear.. love is not one of them.. Peace Tony
