Nine Ball Avenue

When a lad times I had with the poolroom crew.. learned all there was to know on ‘Nine Ball Avenue’.. spoke of money jobs and school.. always about chicks.. many a hero was born playing a good pool stick..

Downtown players of all kinds any city you can find..  player hears clack of pool balls.. heartbeat quickens.. dreams it all..

Gold for pickin’.. game defined.. curses loud.. about the blind..

Chalk your cue.. its up to you.. teach pool table school.. remember it’s their hometown friend.. beginning middle or the end..

Life is like a game of pool.. firm with an eye to bend..

Smile or frown no never-mind live until you die.. heavy talk from jive school there when you apply..

Mary Shelley Monster Ghouls.. attitude folks feel like tools.. be polite day and night.. smile in every duel.. remember in the end..

Life is a game of Pool

English high left speed bank two balls frozen.. other player laughs luck called.. thinks he was chosen..

English low Right easy not tight.. bring a pretty draw.. break money free.. five and nine.. sweetest shot I saw..

Won gold things.. diamond rings.. all across the states.. seen some folks lie or cheat.. showed them heavens gates..

Some speak of hustle.. other speak of love.. money dream to waste a shot.. some wear leather gloves.. something one is born with.. to play the only school.. any time.. any place..

Life is a game of pool..

Yes those ultra loud seem proud will quietly miss.. when a shot means everything.. they cannot resist.. fronting off they are punting in the loft of fools.. smiles disarm taking aim..

Life is a game of pool..

Leave city in a rush.. leave with farewell scenes.. leave with business at the bank.. podium grass-green.. as a leader.. as a friend.. professor at school.. remember to lose nothing for..

Life is a game of pool.. 🙂

Pool is a wonderful game.. when played well it is a good game.. interest, laughter, respect are there.. Peace T.
