Thought.. ‘The importance of clarity comes to me in meditation.. as I admire ‘easy’ and my ‘comfort zone’.. it reminds me of ‘one job well done.. being worth more than any number of things done poorly’..

Storms have formed a passage to a sunny quiet place.. birdsong.. breeze the only sound.. peace inside my face..

Every look tells ‘I know you’.. sense a living eye.. tells me trillion words.. in ‘easy flow’.. when useless dies..

Hear the pimp.. procure a gimp.. those who explore ‘want’.. come in drunken splendor to enhance the mother hunt..

On the edge of meadow space an owl rides a buck.. picture sky joined by a doe two fawns.. a fox and ducks..

Their eyes follow curious.. their way just peace to find.. I perform my soul-game.. let my art slowly unwind..

Day comes in a wonder.. what will I do today?.. will I meet another with music to share and play?..

Weary when the sunset comes.. sundown evening warm.. rest me weary good mind.. carry love to the next storm..

Dream caress away floats stress.. peace comes to my heart.. my mind agrees as peace it sees.. confusion flies apart..

Thought.. ‘in those sixties times.. walking with good friends of yesteryear.. knowing and believing words like ‘free’ and ‘equal’.. we could find no conflict to predict on that peaceful path.. it takes time.. now a black president in a culture where some.. either consciously or without knowledge.. are motivated by ‘race’..

on the other side of that equation are the young.. (share my joy).. and sense of accomplishment after decades of work and purpose.. dedication that was all-consuming for some.. watching those who ignore the needs of ‘living rights’  ignored in guilt and avarice..

watching television I saw speaking.. with no indication of prompts.. pressure or script..

13 children in ten groups.. they defined ‘race’ as a speed contest.. only two asked if it had to do with ‘nationality’.. and all the years came to one second.. the one that says..

Fun to run come undone.. acting like I feel.. goal in my performance.. dance.. play music.. full for real.. disarm with honesty.. laughter in the room.. an elephant seen easy by the flowers bright in bloom.. 

Mystery clouds history of how we came to be.. what defines the yours.. the mine.. forever destiny.. pretty girl with flashing eyes.. tattoo of a heart.. said ‘hell I believe in God.. mankind is not that smart’..

My mind traveled back through time.. saw folks same as now.. different toys.. same belief.. same earth to tend and plow.. ‘smog device mentality’.. suckers buy the best.. at behest of catalytic.. shown off in State tests..

Walking down a street where women walk and children play.. talking up a peace resolve where love will rule the day.. fantasy brought from a dream.. set in rhyme and song.. love will never hurt one.. good when folks will sing along.. 

Joy in India is said as other lands world round.. laugh me up.. laugh me down.. all around each town.. share.. friend teach your name to me.. share a sense of free.. dream a love forever.. free love eternally..

WE PLAYED ‘THE WOODS’.. GOOD ACOUSTICS..

In woods good to me.. path feels warm and right.. way it is.. not the weather.. sounds or dark of night.. came upon two young folk.. different yet the same.. shared a country.. shared a species.. most of all a name..

One looked not to the other.. same mirrored from him.. something ’bout survival.. honor.. when your lights must dim.. questions of the tombstone.. old as life itself..  reason to leave never found on another’s shelf..

One spoke loud as if a soapbox and a crowd on hand.. listened threw his words of peace.. peace upon the land.. other spoke with discipline.. found in social rows.. kind who does a bidding.. in places no soul goes..

To the games for those of plenty.. been a thousand years.. those who disrespect life.. manipulate fears.. never die without knowing.. yourself when you come.. would not breathe another’s air.. or chew another’s gum.. 

In these woods are flowers.. all around this life.. never an excuse heard.. true love of mate and wife.. loud noises.. death no reason.. not welcome this day.. live with flowers.. birdsong peace.. throw the gun away..

TWO SPECIES DISCUSS ‘MOTHERS DAY’ AND THE GIFT OF LIFE..

Hello.. I will be visiting my dear mother this weekend.  About two weeks ago my dear wife was reading my baby book.. put together with loving care and attention by mom when I was an infant.. to about five years. 

I loved it.. as did my woman.. it showed us so much love.. told us more about my beginnings.. love of family.. all the things that seem so boring in the youthful rush to ‘see the world’.. 

I hope you all have a mother to see.. to love.. I can think of no act or past thing that could still my love of the person who birthed me to life..

I thank her every day of my life.. Peace Tony

Down dusty trails.. winds force of gales.. rocks build buildings tall.. folks attend work offices.. with tales to recall..

places lived in times before.. places in a plan.. life a rhythm for your song.. lends a dance to man..

off Washington.. North Beach.. San Fransisco set in dreams.. a play where love  sunrays bounce around moonbeams..

politician.. issue voters.. examine your fears.. cannot label feelings.. no labels.. none to hear..

see a web stretching far as the eye can see.. closer where each line connects a person known to me.. is it Father of my blood?.. yes! I know him well.. Is it Mother that I love?… cast a kindness spell..

now a party beckoning.. work played in the cause.. now a dream with each one starring.. bowing to applause..

life you wonder life you good.. thank you for this chance.. to play song on my good ax strong..

Thought.. ‘walking that wooded path.. the only sound.. water running down a small creek-bed.. birds singing.. some other species moving through the brush on rabbit trails..

my very soul screams a silent question.. ‘How can war ever improve these wonders of life?’.. it cannot.. it never will.. what causes this insanity called war?..
